Welcome to the future of education in your school!

“Virtual Learning” is a UNIQUE NEW LEARNING SYSTEM that combines the latest in educational philosophy methods using state of the art technology, and it’s integrated with the new C3 Federal Standards preparing students for College, Careers and Civic Responsibility. So…how does it work?

1
The System is based on and delivered through an interactive website that is password protected for teachers, and includes sections for students and their families.
2
The Curriculum is focused on History, Geography, Government and Economics, and is organized into individual LEARNING UNITS based on these four strands.
3
The LEARNING UNITS are “INQUIRY BASED.” After viewing each Learning Unit, students will become ‘investigators’ and will develop core disciplines in LOGISTICAL THINKING, EVALUATION SKILLS, COMMUNICATION SKILLS, BE ENCOURAGED TO READ AND WRITE, DEVELOP DISCOVERY SKILLS, CRITIQUING CONCLUSIONS AND TAKE INFORMED ACTION, DEVELOP PERSPECTIVES AND ARGUMENTATION SKILLS, AND LEARN HOW TO USE EVIDENCE TO DRAW THEIR CONCLUSIONS!

Social Study Investigator Students will be challenged, either alone or in teams.
4
The LEARNING UNITS also contain LINKS to outside school group and individual family activities that encourage visiting relevant sites around “Virtual Learning.”
5
Each Learning Unit is embedded with broadcast quality videos that features “Peer Related High School Student Talent.” Each video is the foundation of the learning unit.
6
The system is technologically advanced, user friendly, built for student use on their personal computers, tablets, smart phones…and in the classroom…from overhead projectors to smart boards.
7
The number of embedded links is impressive. Each unit is designed to take the students to another level of learning, and, to help the teacher with the development of life skills necessary beyond the subject matter…to help the student succeed in their next stage of education.
8
Uniquely, “Virtual Learning” was developed by top Illinois Social Studies Bradley University Professors and multiple Emmy award winning writers, producers, editors and web designers/developers.
